Lustrous ruby. Pretty nose of red fruit with a dark earth note and a mere suggestion of oak. Cool-climate character. Sleek and succulent and with fine, gripping tannins; more direct than the Rennina of the same vintage. Will improve with more bottle age, even if it is already very attractive.

It keeps you coming back for more and is going to benefit from at least another year in bottle.
